CQB Hell Limited Event Weapons

How to evaluate time-limited firearms against permanent sandbox and special slots.

Limited Event Weapons Tier Notes

Limited event weapons in CQB Hell are firearms tied to event windows, visit milestones, or short promotional beats—not the same as permanent marketplace specials or everyday sandbox primaries. This page complements Event Weapons, Marketplace Specials, Weapons Tier List, and Loadouts Tier List. Read it when inventory menus change after a patch or when social feeds claim a “new limited gun” dropped.

CQB Hell by Killart Studios released March 14, 2025 on Roblox with online PvE on PC, Xbox, and Mobile. Random maps, aggressive AI, bosses (Allik, Ascalon, Ambush, Viper, Melnik, T14 Armata, Patsyuk, Kevin, Gunk, Sequoia), and a shooting range with PVP define sessions. This wiki refuses invented DPS. Musket, D-44 Carbine, G19B, and Contender remain baseline playstyle examples for comparison.

Limited versus permanent versus special

Three slots confuse players:

  • Primary sandbox guns — everyday firearms you bring into most runs; ranked on Weapons Tier List.
  • Marketplace specials — permanent third-slot weapons bought or dropped from NPCs; see Marketplace Specials. Listing to sell removes ownership.
  • Event and limited event guns — window-tied tools that may disappear from menus when the event ends; see also Event Weapons for broader event framing.

Limited event weapons are not automatically better. They are situational tools whose value depends on whether you can still equip them next week and whether the feel matches your role.

How we rank without fake numbers

Criteria match the Tier List Hub:

  • Does the gun help you win doorways against aggressive AI?
  • Can you recover after a miss without dying to the next push?
  • Does it scale into boss rooms or only into empty hallways?
  • Is it controllable on Mobile and Xbox, not only PC mouse aim?
  • Is the limited window worth learning a new tempo before it vanishes?

S-tier here means “worth mastering during the window if you already play the role.” C-tier means “fun flex, do not rebuild your identity around it.” We avoid F-tier unless a limited pick actively fights survival habits.

Practical evaluation workflow

  1. Confirm the gun is still in your inventory after a clean rejoin—patches move menus; read Latest Patch.
  2. Test recoil and peek timing on the Shooting Range, including PVP pressure.
  3. Run one clean Map Clearing route with the limited pick—not a boss ego attempt first.
  4. Compare against your permanent primary on Weapons Tier List and any third-slot special on Marketplace Specials.
  5. Only then attempt boss content via Bosses with utilities intact.

Loadout pairing notes

Limited event guns rarely replace medkit discipline or grenade timing. Pair them with honest utility plans from Grenades & Medkits. If the limited gun wants longer sightlines, trench-themed weeks may still punish you—read Trench Warfare Update and Trench Map Solo when lanes tighten.

Contender users should still read Contender for committed peek habits. Limited rifles that feel like carbines should be compared to D-44-style strings, not Musket pacing.

Ownership and marketplace mistakes

Using a special does not consume it, but listing any special for sale removes ownership permanently. Limited event items have their own retirement rules—when an event ends, menus may hide guns you still conceptually “own.” Do not panic-sell permanent specials to fund event FOMO. Verify in-session before marketplace clicks.

When limited guns are worth the grind

  • You already play the role the gun supports (entry clearer, mid stabilizer, boss peeker).
  • The window is long enough for range + map reps.
  • The feel survives Mobile or controller input if that is your platform.
  • You are not skipping fundamentals on Getting Started to chase a limited badge.

When the window is short and you are new, permanent sandbox mastery beats limited rarity.

Treat limited event weapons as timed experiments, not scripture. Validate on the range, preserve utilities on maps, then decide whether the window deserves your main loadout slot.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common CQB Hell questions.

Are limited event weapons the same as marketplace specials?

No. Specials are permanent third-slot guns with marketplace rules. Limited event guns tie to event windows and may leave menus when events end.

Do limited guns always outrank Musket or G19B?

No. Rank by feel and role fit, not rarity. Permanent sandbox tools may still suit you better.

Where do I test a new limited pick?

Shooting Range first, then a clean map clear before boss attempts.

What if my limited gun vanished after a patch?

Rejoin cleanly and check inventory. Read Latest Patch for menu changes before rebuying or panic listing.

How does this page differ from Event Weapons?

Event Weapons covers general event firearms. This page focuses on short-window limited drops and evaluation workflow.

Do you publish DPS tables for limited guns?

No. We rank by practical CQB feel and link you to practice pages instead of inventing stats.
